Dr. Gregory P. Varty was born and raised on the west end of Ottawa. He received his Bachelor of Science from Queen's University in 1994, working extensively in biology and animal behaviour, then earned his four-year Doctor of Chiropractic from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon in 1998.
Dr. Varty continually strives to improve his understanding of health and well-being, regularly attending international chiropractic conferences to bring the latest information to Embrun Chiropractic Clinic, where he has been in private practice since October 1999.
He believes maximizing your health must include a strong spine and nervous system, and over his years of practice in Embrun he has seen remarkable changes in patients’ health under chiropractic care. Outside the clinic his passion is his family — his wife and girls — and his hobbies include skiing, water skiing, and windsurfing.
